Basically, the question is: Is it more efficient (i.e. less expensive) to charge at 120 Volts or 220Volts? Mitsubishi literature implies that at 120v, it takes about 22 hours for full charge. At 220V, it takes more like 7 hours, which is only one third as much. Stands to reason that at 220v...

As EVs gain foothold, and gasoline consumption goes down, as it already has for economic reasons, revenue genrated from the gasoline tax will diminish. How will government "get even"? Right now they are encouraging us to buy EVs but I predict they will need to find another way to tax us.
