The Obama administration has proposed replacing the "up to $7500" tax credit incentive with a direct at point of sale $10,000 the taxpayer throws in.

That's a better deal for me. My base tax deduction means I don't even see a dime of the $7500 credit. At least with the $10K off-the-top deduction, people b*ching about the subsidy have a leg to stand on. :lol:
