"Manual" Pre-Climate Control

My apologies for fomenting this discussion based on my fear of deciphering the remote functions. Yes, it was baseless fear.

Yesterday I did a first test of pre-heating using the remote. It was easy and worked first time.

That said, in 30 minutes it did not generate a lot of heat, and that was at am ambient of 51 F. With the seat heater also on it brought the cabin to about 59. So I can probably look forward to it taking a 32 ambient to maybe 38. Meh. My hairdryer does more.

Preheating on level 1 does almost nothing :lol: . Using the Defrost function instead of Heat seems to work better as it will blow more air and heat the rear window and mirrors. Definitely have the seat heater turned on to help. Level 2 can get the car pretty warm.
