    Mitsubishi Owners Site Warning

What is the owner's site for? Where is it?

    Hypermiling the i-MiEV

Last I heard about anyone driving an iMiev in the snow was Mitsubishi's promotional video! What's the max tire listed on the tires? Was it 50psi?

    DVD player in car

Ha! That's an interesting idea, I guess that's the best use for a DVD player that's only good when the vehicle isn't moving!

    Reserve/Receive Dates

Great idea! I don't have any order details yet, I haven't pull the trigger on a Mitsubishi i yet. Maybe the mods should move this thread to the owner's forum since it will be potential owners? I guess this is as good a spot as any.

    First Washington State Owner

It could be, Mitsubishi hasn't really left as much of a paper trail as Nissan did with their Leaf deliveries. From what I've seen on this forum, you are the only mainlander that actually has a Mitsubishi i delivered to them yet!

    Let the Hacking Begin

Cool - from that image it looks like your baseline power usage is around 600 watts? Or am I misreading that? Perhaps it's 600 watts because there are Christmas lights on 24/7? Has your power company said anything about it? I see in the photos on the website there is a 'dear power company' label...

    Better charging controls

Interesting idea with the timer! I guess that would work, although I always thought the charger needed to be plugged in and then turned on? Or if you have the car plugged in, and then plug in the charger (manually or via a timer switching it on), will the charging start without any other user...

    Wraps

Actually, I like this US Mitsubishi i Wrap, the green goo look:

    Wraps

I agree that the UK ones look better, but they are definitely more abstract. The US ones are mostly straight lines etc, and then the UK ones look like this: Mitsubishi i-Miev White Rainforest Wrap Mitsubishi i-Miev Green Dust Wrap Mitsubishi i-Miev Urban Angst Wrap

    Let the Hacking Begin

Since it's not a mobile phone app, it means it's communicating with a wireless signal straight to the car rather than through the cell network to the car. The advantage being that there's no fee for the vehicle to be connected to a network. It's probably a simple enough code that the Mitsubishi...

proud new owner of an 'i'

What do you think of the rear visibility in your Mitsubishi i? On the Nissan Leaf, people are complaining that the rear seat headrests block a lot of view out the back. I guess the Leaf has a fairly small rear window and large C pillars. The Mitsubishi iMiev looks to have a large, vertical...

Mitsubishi i deliveries start in North America

First one has been delivered, according to this post: http://myimiev.com/first-mitsubishi-imiev-delivered-to-customer/ Are these people on the Mitsubishi i Forum? I'd love to ask some questions!

    yea! it's on it's way!

Hate to pester - but any updates yet? Do you have your Mitsubishi i? Are you driving it yet!?

    Wraps

Yet another beautiful wrap for the Mitsubishi i - wood paneling! Seriously, I think Mitsubishi should offer some of these options from the factory - I think people would definitely want to customize their Mitsubishi i-Miev,,, Read more about the Mitsubishi i Woody here

Wait for the Gen 2 Mitsubishi i?

That's the way it is with everything - think iPhone. They keep releasing new versions, but people still keep upgrading to the newest version and dumping their slightly used older version. If the Mitsubishi i-miev has a version 2 that is way better, people who liked the 2012 Mitsubishi i will...

Anyone Get a Home Inspection in the US?

I'm not on an island, but I live about 100 miles from the nearest Best Buy - I guess maybe that's another reason they are rolling out the Mitsubishi i-Miev in high-populous areas... or actually maybe it's the other way around, and they decided they could allow the Geek Squad to install the...

    Self Charging

I think Rick means he will be charging the Mitsubishi i-Miev at home with his solar panels, not on the roof of the car?

Review of US Pre-production Mitsubishi i-Miev

Glad to hear the Mitsubishi i is sneaky big inside - that's one thing I was concerned about and still won't be totally comfortable with until I can see it in person, sit in it, and perhaps test fit some car seats!

    Limited Edition Mitsubishi i-Miev

In Japan, Mitsubishi has it's headquarters in the Tamachi district of Tokyo. And outside those headquarters is parked a pair of Mitsubishi i-Miev electric vehicles. What makes them special is that they are plastered with Hello Kitty and were made up as ads for the Sanrio Summer Festival. Also...
