    Center armrest?

Wondering if anyone is trying to figure out how to make a center armrest. Personally, I don't use the parking brake very often and I was thinking it would be cool to build an armrest that fits over top of the parking brake. Maybe one that could lift up, like on a hinge at the back, to expose...

    Consumer Reports "Review"

Early comments from Consumer Reports: http://news.consumerreports.org/cars/2012/06/with-the-mitsubishi-i-miev-electric-car-range-anxiety-is-included.html Not very flattering! Jenn

    Wheel covers

I found this link on another forum: http://www.mooneyesusa.com/shop/product.php?products_id=473 It's for disk-like wheel covers. Looks aerodynamic, but I question if this would make the brakes heat up too much? Jenn

Personalized Plates and California White HOV Sticker

I have personalized plates on an existing car that I want to move over to the i-MiEV. I have to wait for the regular plates come in from my registration first. I also need to wait for the regular plate to come in before I can order my white HOV stickers. I want to get my white stickers as...

    "Range Remaining" algorithm?

As I understand it, the "range remaining" adjusts to the type of driving you are doing. Any idea how often it adjusts? I usually drive around town and am used to seeing 50-60 miles of range remaining after driving for a while. When I jumped on the freeway a couple of times, I was shocked to...

    How to remove hubcaps?

Maybe a dumb question, but I don't want to mess up my new car! A couple of the hubcaps are so close to the valve stem that I can't add air to the tires. Do I just pry them off, then rotate them a few millimeters and push them back on? This is on the ES model, I don't think the high class...

Just signed up for a ChargePoint card

I thought I'd better have one handy, in case I ever get caught outside my range (like trying to get to SF, ha ha). It seems like they have a majority of the charging locations here in the Bay Area. I'm not sure how many are free (I suspect most are), but I put money on the card just in case. Jenn

Anyone driven from the South Bay to San Francisco? 45 miles

I'd like to attend a meeting in SF. The distance is 45 miles, but that's all freeway driving. I haven't had the car long enough to know if this is possible (I'd recharge before returning, of course). Any ideas? Thanks, Jenn

    Headlights

How are folks finding the headlights? Ours seem to be aimed a little low, not casting as far down the road as I like - has anyone else experienced this? There are no instructions in the manual for adjusting them, that I could find. I like the fact that I can leave them switched in the "on"...

Dash Displays - suggestion for improvement

Just picked up our MiEV and here are two suggestions that came to me right after my first drive on my own, regarding the dash displays. 1. I miss having the speedometer as a dial - the MiEV only shows one speed number, you have to read it to know your speed. I like to look at a dial, so I can...

    Hidden charges (CA-specific) ?

I've never bought a new car before. What charges should I expect besides the cost of the vehicle and options. I am in California Destination charge? How much? Sales tax - ugh! DMV charges? How much? Anything else? I don't want the dealer to sneak something else in there that might not be...

Driver's seat adjustment on the ES model?

Hi All, Just wondering if the driver's seat adjusts in height on the ES (lower) model. Thanks, Jenn
