Yeah, when the biggest news in your new model year is that you're restoring an option that you dropped in the previous model, you probably aren't trying very hard.

If you're getting MSRP minus the dealer cash, don't worry about being greedy — they'll get their margin through that. If you can negotiate below that, go for it.

What is your current rate? When Ally called me last week to remind me about the termination, they offered nothing other than buying the vehicle for more than the cost of a new Leaf. Then they called yesterday offering up to six months at my current rate.

FYI I just got a call offering to extend my lease 6 more months at the rate I was paying ($150/month after tax). So maybe they're becoming a little less eager to see them come back.

Yeah, I only know of one other in the area. If the onboard chargers are faulty and these were manufactured one after the other, that could be a contributing factor as well. All our i-MiEVs have the cold-weather package, but I don't think there are any other similarities.
