    Which thermal paste do you guys recommend to put between the waffle plate and the charger enclosure? I purchased 8327GL6-25ML from MG Chemicals but it turns out it's very thick and difficult to spread out evenly. I think it would be best to use something that is a bit more runny

    I've reached the same point with my charger, the waffle plate is damaged. I've asked around locally and it looks like there is no chemical stripper that will work to soften the epoxy and scrape it out. It seems like the only way to remove it is mechanically. I wish I had a mini milling machine...

    Thanks for links, so far I've only removed the flux from pins, desoldering them will be a pain! I'm going to get a Hakko FR301 to make it a little easier. Although I noticed there's solder under the PCB as well, not sure if the FR301 will be able to suck that up.
