Yes, 40 km are easy to do.

Hello Sorry for not giving news for a long time. Still have it, now for almost 10 years. With 25,7 Ah.

    End of the line...?

If they don't make more of them, I fill it even more special.

    Canion

http://myimiev.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=23&t=2673&start=10 I think in the bottom of that page you have an explanation how to do the modification that gives you the possibility of deflecting the air to the battery. But you can find it in other forum pages.

    Canion

CaniOn was updated to 140 in my phone. Came here to see some information of it, but I see I'm the first one to write about it. It seems, for me, just one new thing, but a great improvement, the one that I was asking for since 2013. I think Ah of the battery was finally added. I was following...

    EVBatMon Readings

"The owner’s manual (around page I-4) states that we should have no more than 20% loss after 5 years." Is that loss of battery capacity or loss of range? 22% loss of capacity doesn´t mean 22% loss of range. This is because when new the car will let use only a percentage of total capacity, but...

"I've noticed Koorz re-adjusting SoC once or twice when driving a short distance (about 5 miles), parking, then going again." I see it too. Sometimes 10% SoC goes away after re-adjusting SoC twice, when parked between 95% to 80%. But then it recovers the two bars lost latter (one by one), when...

I don't know if this is usual in the other i-MiEVs. Mine does it often. Swiching off charge before full, but showing 100% SoC. But if I try to charge it again, then it corrects the SoC and accepts the new charge. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qLYAtIUk2v8

Variation of battery current capacity, values obtained from the car, with MUT-III and EvBatMon, in 2016. I believe a good management of pack temperature is the main reason for this incredible low loss of capacity in 2016. It was an hot 2016 summer, but with AC cold air going down to the pack...

With the fight against degradation centered in temperature control (and very little in other things), I believe capacity loss went down to a value arround 2,5% an year (in the last 2 and an half years). That is fantastic because between 2011 and 2014 it was arround 6%/year.

I agree avoiding going under 20%. It will be certainly good to the battery. I just do it because its the way to know how much my turtle values, and that gives me hints how the degradation is evolving. If I didn´t do this type of discharges, at least once an year, how could I know if I have...

Yes, turtle can certainly pop up with some bars left. It happened to me in 2013, when it was getting its capacity wrong. With 1 bar it could show turtle for a second and after few meters it would stop without energy. But that will happen to very few i-MiEV owners, because usually the car...

First I have to say that for some reason not all i-MiEVs behave the same way. For example, turtle light goes on in different i-MiEVs at different values of SoC. In mine, when SoC goes down to 9,5% SoC, turtle goes on. But I know other cars where the value of SoC is not 9,5% (a little higher or a...

It always does. I just see some notable differences at low SoC. Below 15%, things get worse and worse. When I drive it to this limits, I always watch the weaker cell, because when hit 2,75V car will shut down, no matter the SoC. Some of you follow me for a long time, maybe remember how it was in...

Suddenly, in a flash, the 34Ah went down to 33Ah and are now in 32,9Ah. This value corresponds to less than 11 kWh of maximum load in the batteries. But by the consumption seen through caniOn, it seems to me that this value is very underrated, so I decided to do a load of 0% to 100% to see how...

In 2011 (time of LEV50), when I bought it (and it was expensive), almost everybody thought that I made a very weird option (at least. Some would call it stupid). Now they are asking with some envy, how much did I saved in these 5 years. Gas is not going very cheap here, since taxes are going...

My i-MiEV in summer 2016. I never saw such an hot summer. It's an aged battery, but with no signs of failure. 15 to 20% less range then in 2011, but with a better use of the stored energy and with the possibility of using Canion to figure out how much range left in turtle, sometimes feels no...

Now with 94.000 km (58.500 miles). Almost 5 years and an half. EvBatMon shows 34 Ah, a little more then 70% of its original capacity. It's now losing 0,8 Ah an year (in the last 2 years) and last month I accomplished the last big challenge that an i-MiEV owner can have here, going to the...

What a finding! I would buy it too, without thinking twice. If it was mine, I would name it arrow.
