12 v battery issue? Lots of issues I had on imiev and ampera solved by new 12v battery. I know it sounds simple but worth checking. Costs nowt .

Hi Replace 12v battery. That's it. Bet it works. I have had mine 7.5 years. Poor 12v battery causes all kinds of weird symptons and codes, plus head scratching.

Starting year 8 of ownership. No problems relating to EV tech so far. Had a few funnies codes etc.in year 4 All solved by changing 12v battery. Same with my Ampera hybrid. lots of false alarms caused by 12 v battery issues.
