When the dealer swapped my batter they had to use a special lift Mitsubishi shipped them special from Japan. It was almost as large as the car itself.

I've driven in turtle a few times. I've driven till it stopped at one point also. ~5 miles is about right. BTW.... do not run it till it stops. you will shorten your battery life.

once you have --:-- you have another 5 or so miles to go. Then it just sort of short off and rolls to a stop. Also, the first bit of travel for the break is tied to teh electrical system to kick in regen. When the system if off that part of pedal travel is dead space.

US spec has them as a factory as well as a dealer installed option. Mine came with them. I like them. superwhite and bright.

Anyone here try using one of these? I plugged one in and immediately started having weird problems with the car going into a strange limp mode. On the dash I got a weird yellow picture of a car with an ! mark on it, the turtle, and a couple other lights.

I don't know if EVSE upgrade does can offer it, but the price of a new cord alone is about $250... An SPX Power Xpress is $950... and then you have a backup cable.

Does anyone know if I wire up the SPX voltecs to a 110v outlet for level 1 charging? On the specs it claims; • Operating Voltage: 95/264V - (30A Circuit)
