Our new black i-MiEV arrived last night, trucked to St. Peters, MO from Tennessee. :D Here is a photo of it next to its mate, our Fiat 500 Sport. The i is the "big car" in the family, being about 10 inches longer than the Fiat. -- Art Z.

I noticed something surprising while driving in D mode. If I take my foot off the gas, the needle moves about half way into the regen portion of the gauge. When I lightly touch the brake pedal, the needle moves all the way to the bottom of the gauge indicating full regenerative braking. Very...
