OBC Swapping Gen1 to Gen 2

Hi Coulomb, I see, I will pay attention to the "13A" mark and if I have a chance I will check it and see if the current is fixed or can be changed.

OBC Swapping Gen1 to Gen 2

Yes "ALL" sounds good. But I do not think it is linked to the AC voltage input range as all should accept 100-240V AC But I have noted that on the OBCs there are at least these marks: ALL, NAS, STD. NAS probably means North American Standard and, if I rememeber well, they do not work on EU cars...

OBC Swapping Gen1 to Gen 2

Hi Lviv, In addition on the Kiev's comments, just please be sure that your car and the other OBC come both from the same continent. One time I got an OBC from the USA and it did not work on a EU car. I had to swop the upper control board too. Let us know, Sandrosan

OBC new model vs. old model

Hi Kiev and Coulomb, I have decided to open the cover of the 2012 model (invaliding the warrantee... :( ). And I have discovered that: The 2 OBCs, the USA model 2012 and the EU model 2011 in my hands have the same connectors, same pins, same pin positions, same wires colors, fortunately let...

OBC new model vs. old model

Thanks Coulomb! Yes I have plug and socket from an old charger, no problem for this. As I said to Kiev, let me wait a bit before invalidate the warrantee. I also can change the control board if they are the same inside incluind pins and wrirings. Let me give some days as I am going away for biz...

OBC new model vs. old model

Hi Kiev, Thanks for your comments, I hope inside this USA OBC of 2012 is the same of the C zero OBC of 2011. I just wait a bit for other tests before to open it otherwise I invalidate the warrantee. But from the ourside and visible connectors pins, wires color and positions they are all the...

OBC new model vs. old model

Hi Kiev, The Czero uses normal EVSE 16A (actually 14A at 230V). I also have an adjustable type EVSE. I have not check with Diagbox and ODB LX yet. I will try . The USA OBC is 2012 but brand new, looks virgin. I guess it is an old stock. Of course I am going to ask a replacement but I hope...

OBC new model vs. old model

Hello all, Long time I do not write and follow this fantastic forum but let me be here again today. I am based in Italy and there is a Citroen C Zero of 2011 with its OCB faulty. On its label is written: ZHTP1529R 2011.03.17 STD V110. I know it is faulty because I have tried the OCB of...

Help identify location of faulty battery cell

Hi all, There is a Peugeot iOn with 80 cells, a sister of Mitsubishi iMiev. I have seen the great drawing of Kiev of the iMiev pack with 88 cells and 12 CMUs identification. But has someone the drawing to identify the cells and CMUs for this pack made by 80 cells (not 88) and 10 CMUs (not...

The Troubleshooting and Repair for On-board Charger (OBC) Thread

@Szet, I would check -with no power-: -if there is continuity between the collector of TR301 and one side of relay coil, -If there is the continuity between the 5 V on C703 to the other side of the relay coil. -if the TR301 (NPN) is OK (the emitter is grounded, Collector is central pin)...

The Troubleshooting and Repair for On-board Charger (OBC) Thread

To Szet: I fully agree with Kiev and specially on this part: "check/verify that the flat ribbon cable is inserted properly and that you have continuity thru each contact from control board to the power board." The flat ribbon cable and its connectors are extremely delicate and so too easy to be...
