    my Miev will not charge

Right, like I said they tested it under load and it had a grade of 87% which they deemed to be good. I have no idea if the battery is actually original as I've only had the car two years.

    my Miev will not charge

As far as I know the 12V battery is original; I took it to a local (non-EV) shop last week and they tested it under load and told me it was 87% good. I can't really see the electrolyte level through the casing.

    my Miev will not charge

Thanks kiev. So I flatbed towed my car to the closest US EV certified dealer in Williamsville, NY yesterday and paid yet another diagnostic fee, however this time they couldn't detect any error code!!! Sure enough they plugged it into their L2 EVSE and it started charging @#$%@$ I got enough...

    my Miev will not charge

My 2012 iMiEV's onboard charger has also just recently given up the ghost. Car will only go into 'Ready' mode intermittently. Was quoted almost $5000 Canadian to replace (Part Number is 9481A095 and is listed on a couple sites as being $3100 USD) I'm out of the bumper to bumper warranty but...

    Aftermarket Wheels

Had the rotors, pads and extended studs installed on the front wheels yesterday. No issues with fitment and they only charged me C$150 for the entire job which I consider to be a bargain. They couldn't fit the factory hub caps back on after because the studs are so long! I'm going to leave it...

    Aftermarket Wheels

I think I'm finally going to get my extended studs put on this week, but I'm having a local garage do it. I couldn't get the front brake rotor to budge when I tried a few months ago, figured I was going to destroy it in the process. Plus it is all pitted and rusted and needs to be replaced...

    Aftermarket Wheels

So I didn't get around to putting on my Mini wheels or extended studs last year, but was thinking about doing it now since I need to work on the front brakes (they seem to be dragging quite bad) so I'm ready to mount the Mini wheels next spring (winter tires will go on in a month or so, and the...

    Car Keys

Anyone know if this key / transmitter will work? I assume I will need to get the dealer to program it but its cheaper than $185 as previously posted... http://www.ebay.com/itm/2012-2014-MITSUBISHI-I-MIEV-KEY-BLANK-REMOTE-FOB-TRANSMITTER-OEM-MN141010/301197134978 I only got one key with my car

Upgrading the heating system to bioethanol or Diesel fuel

I found a site that sells Eberspächer units starting at €418 and Webasto units starting at €595 not sure why I'd want to spend more for a Russian built unit? Russia isn't exactly known for its reliable products... I'm still a bit leery of buying the Chinese-made Ali Express units, I think I'd...

    Aftermarket Wheels

Just revisiting this now that I'm in the process of installing Winter tires on my stock rims, thinking about spring already *sigh* Am I reading it correctly that you don't actually need longer studs at on the rear wheels, ie can I use the stock studs with the Mini wheels on the rear and just...

SNOW TIRES & wheels any recommendations?

Darn, I guess someone beat me to the fronts already the wrecker only lists the rears. Oh well I might as well get them they aren't that much more than steel wheels and who knows maybe I'll luck out and find a pair of matching fronts.

SNOW TIRES & wheels any recommendations?

In regards to rims, are the front and rear alloy rims the same size? I found two alloy rims at a wrecker but it says they are from the rear. I was just reading in another thread that the fronts are the ones that are hard to fit other brands of rims on.

SNOW TIRES & wheels any recommendations?

I am also in the Toronto area; I just called Active Green & Ross and they can no longer get the Yokohama IceGaurd IG20 in the rear tire size (175/60R15) - in fact they can't get any winter tire in the stock rear tire size (just all seasons). Front size no problem (I believe it is commonly used...
