How about these, which I believe have been installed in an iMiev in the USA and reported in this forum? https://www.alibaba.com/product-detail/Brand-New-CATL-Ternary-Lithium-Ion_1600494889608.html?spm=a2700.galleryofferlist.normal_offer.d_title.2230d709rkkcvY
Thanks. It hasn't been sudden, but rather a gradual decline. I have checked the brakes recently and they were fine. The car is still quite usable for short trips. Mostly we travel to locations where there are chargers so the overall trip is fairly easy. For anything else, we take the Bolt...
RR today with relatively warm weather in Phoenix: 39.
Nine years and 63,800 miles; battery is declining.
We are enjoying our new Bolt EUV having driving it almost 10k miles!
But, beyond that, we hope again that everyone is looking forward to another Happy New Year! :D
Thanks. We're using the standard Mitsubishi iMiev EVSE (which came with the car) that plugs into a 120v outlet. On the last measurement the car fully charged overnight and thereafter in the late morning I took the measurements.
I don't know what to do about not charging fully to 4.1v. Any...
After reset (charge to full after driven below 2 bars) summary values from Car Scanner Pro are the same:
Ah: 19.9
High cell: 4.08
Low cell: 4.07.
I'll do a few more over the next week or so and see what happens.
I did find OBDZero and Hobdrive on the Google play store, but couldn't get them to download. I selected install, agreed to the permissions, then the Galaxy Tab 3 would lock up.
I have driven the car below two bars and reset the capacity many times. I'll try it again when I get a chance.
We have 63k+ miles on our iMiev and its been in the heat for the 9 years or so we've owned it. I just turned the car on to do a Car Scanner review for JoeS and it shows 45 miles of range, which is optimistic.
I have wondered about the Ah values. OBDZero is on the Android app store? I use an...
Just bought the OBDlink MX+ and installed Car Scanner on my iPhone. At first blush it seems to work quite well. Its "All Sensors" option displays a lot of data including all of the traction battery cell data. I also compared it against Canion. While it doesn't have the same display of cell...
Per NOCO, all of their chargers simply stop working when the temperature is outside their limits and begin working again when they are within the limits.
The Genius 2d has an upper operating limit of 140F degrees (and a lower of -4F degrees) but cannot handle lithium batteries. In warmer...
There are some key differences between the battery maintainers. Additionally, given that I live in Phoenix where the temperatures are routinely over 104 degrees, the selected battery maintainer must operate over 104 degrees.
Per their website, the Genius 2d ( https://no.co/genius2d ) operates...
I tried to start our iMiev the other day and nothing happened. So I removed the 12v and took it to Autozone and after testing it, the clerk there pronounced it dead and quoted me around $200 for a new battery ( 151R3xt ). Rather than pursue this option, I chose to look at the NOCO NLP30...
From one whom is considering the replacement of the fuse, how did the replacement fuses work out?
Have you looked at the replacements to see if there is less or no vibration damage?
Why a 40 amp fuse or 25 or 30 when 20 is used originally?
Thanks.
