    B1108: electric heater fail 1

I finally replaced the heater and that fixed the issue. I’m currently dissecting the old heater to see what failed. So far the electronics seems that be fine.

    B1108: electric heater fail 1

kiev, thank you for the corrected manual pages. The fluid level is ok. The pump is working. Everything is working on AC power. Recently I had a chance to drive a 2012 Nissan Leaf. The heating seems 10x more powerful than on the i-Miev. So I’m thinking something must be wrong with the PTC heater.

    B1108: electric heater fail 1

Hi, I have an issue with the PTC heater. It works if I do the preheating with the remote. It also stays on when I go driving afterwards. If I don't use preheating then the heater doesn't produce any heat while driving. If I use OBS2 dongle and hobDrive I can see that in the beginning the...

    Wheel speed sensor

That's great. As far as I understand the front sensors have a different shape than the rear. I need to replace one of the front wheel bearings. I hope I can remove the sensor without trouble. EDIT: When looking at the product pictures I realised it would probably fit the front because the bolt...

    Wheel speed sensor

My understanding is that the left and right are the same. I guess I’ll have to see if I can find a second hand sensor locally. According to this site Bosch and TRW also made this sensor, but I have not been able to find the actual products anywhere —> https://partinfo.org/mitsubishi-4670a541/

    Wheel speed sensor

I had the front right wheel bearing replaced and the ABS sensor was damaged during the procedure. So now I’m looking for a new one. The OEM part costs over 200 €. I would like something cheaper, but I have not managed to find a compatible third party sensor. I’m wondering if Mitsubishi used the...

    P0A43 resolver open/short circuit

Hi, I think it was pin 13. The effect is that it's showing the RPM as -4xxx when the car is not moving. I managed to get the car running for a while until I decided to open up the connector again. Bad idea, couldn't get it working afterwards. Anyway, now my plan is to replace the connector. So...

    P0A43 resolver open/short circuit

I found the connector. The manufacturer is Sumitomo - https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Sumitomo-6189-1092-13-WAY-CONNECTOR-KIT-Inc-Terminals-seals-13-AC001/233467142995

    Actually, a 13 pin connector.

    P0A43 resolver open/short circuit

I managed to get the car running for a moment by sticking some thin wire into the corroded pin. This didn’t last for very long. I think I need a new 14 pin female connector. Do you have any idea where I could get one? The other option would be removing the connector and soldering the wires...

    P0A43 resolver open/short circuit

One of the pins on the female connector was really packed with green corrosion. Couldn’t really even insert anything. I used a drill bit that went into the other pins without effort. I tried leaving it in vinegar for half an hour, but it didn’t really work. I will try again today. The...

    P0A43 resolver open/short circuit

Hi, Thank you for the advice. I managed to open the connector and measure the resistances of the resolver coils. Fortunately they were all within spec. I discovered that one of the contacts was terribly corroded. I had to use a 0.4 mm drill bit to clean it out. Now there are no resolver/motor...

    P0A43 resolver open/short circuit

Hi, Has anyone experienced this error code, what was the solution? The manual tells first to check the motor plug. How can I open the plug? I don’t see any tabs.

    Problemwith MCU P062F

Hi, I spent some time trying various parameters, but was not able to calculate the CRC or find the algorithm. The algorithm can be anything. Also, only a part of the VIN number might be used for the calculation. It doesn't even have to be a CRC algorithm. Can just be addition of all the hex...

    Problemwith MCU P062F

Hi, I'm also interested in this topic. I found this program --> https://reveng.sourceforge.io/ I tried to use the VIN/CRC combination posted in this thread to find the algorithm, but I didn't get any results. I think it needs at least 4 samples. Maybe if you could find more samples then it...
