It's my understanding after conferring with the EVSE upgrade people, and a comment from another board member, that only the Panasonic EVSE that came with the 2012 model is upgradeable.

So I RTFM for information about those screws holding down the flat tire repair kit cover. There is a washer stuck into the styrofoam that you're supposed to use to loosen the screws. I'll have to give that a try.
