This week my car went to the dealer for the impact sensor recall. That evening while locking the car with the key fob I noticed a strange red light flashing on the dash. After reading the owners manual I discovered the light indicates the security system is armed,
I've owned the car almost three years and have never seen that light turned on before now.
The next day I called the service manager to ask if any software upgrades were performed that might have effected the security system. The answer, "no".
Has anyone else had odd displays with their security system indicator light?
