Anyone know how to get to the wire going to the car horn?

I would like to add a louder car horn like this one:

FIAMM 74100 El Grande - Twin Horns - Red

I don't know off hand, but how about just tapping off the wire right at the horn? Unless you're deaf, it shouldn't be too hard to find the horn. :D

Since I assume you will mount the new horns under the hood, mounting the relay under the hood would probably be the easiest place to put it. Thus, tapping the wire at the factory horn should be fairly convenient.

jjlink, i just installed twin horns today. i have posted this link with pictures of the tools needed, how to remove the clips, location of clips, type of connector (the horn is powered pos. when the button is pressed), where i ended up installing the horns, etc.

It was a very easy job after i decided where to mount the 2 horns. i bought the smallest horns i could find because i figured it was going to be tight in there, after i couldn't mount them in the original spot i chose to mount them on the support between the bumper and the radiator, there is a huge amount of room at that location and so any horns will work.

Nice, Thanks for the photos :D

OK, I installed these: "FIAMM 74100 El Grande - Twin Horns - Red".

I put them behind the front air-intake and in front of the radiator. They are pointing downward to avoid getting stuff blown into them.

The exiting horn wire has the pig-tail wire from the horns plugged into it.

No more little beep-beep.
