Another suggestion, but not sure if your cars have this feature. We have an automatic three signal lane change feature on our turn signals. I use this often for these gentle turns. You simply press down to the first stop and let the lever go. You have to do it rather quickly and not hold it. Then you get three blinks and the signals go off.
