Our local community newspaper did a two-part series on EVs, and our iMiEV's picture made the paper:

The town just approved and will be installing three charging stations in the next few months.

Slowly, progress is being made...
 
We live in an area of more than 100,000 people (Biloxi, Gulfport, D'Iberville) and there are ZERO charging stations so far - Other than the 2 Nissan dealerships . . . . even the Mitsubishi dealership that sold us our car doesn't have one

When we see the first one, now that will be REAL news!!

Cool! Great pix! I recognized your i-MiEV from the graphics on the front bumper. Way to get out there and extoll the virtues of EVs. :D
 
Hi guys, thanks for your kind comments. Actually, Los Altos is getting into the charging station game pretty late, as neighboring Palo Alto has had them for about 15 years (upgraded to J1772 in 2011) and even my little town of Los Altos Hills has two of them.

Must be latitude, as both sandange's longitude and winter temperature delta are greater ;)
