Hmm, still nothing on the Eaton L2 at Best Buy?

I see a post saying "USA Delivery Countdown is now just nine days, the cars should be on a boat or on shore getting ready to be ship out to the dealers. " in this forum. http://myimiev.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=80

I order a Leviton Evr-Green 160 Level 2 Home Charging Station kit for $62.00. The Leviton Evr-Green 160 Level 2 Home Charging Station (made in USA) $949.00. Ships the same day, seems pretty easy to install.

If you want something from a big store, Home Depot has a level 2 charger listed for $799 on their website:

Do we know yet what sort of plug port the Mitsubishi i-Miev will have?

Eaton charging station has a • SAE J1772TM compliant
connector same as the home depot unit. The home depot is a 30 amp unit some of the other chargers are a 16amp unit. With a 16 amp unit you could take an existing receptacle with 12/2 wire and turn it into a 220 volt receptacle with a 20 amp breaker.

Would there be a charging time difference between a 16amp and a 30amp charging unit? Even though they are both level 2 chargers?

Mitsubishi Imiev spec's:
Portable charging cable (Level 1) 120V (8A)
Optional home charging dock (Level 2) 240V (15A) (requires EVSE 240V home charging station)
I know that the leaf has a 3.3kW 15 amp onboard charger and the evr Green 160 Home Charging Station, 3.8kW output, Level 2 works find. Some electric cars are coming out with a 6.6kw onboard charger and they will need the 30 amp charger with 6.6kw.
Will some of the 30 amp chargers step down to 3.8kw and also do 6.6kw, I don't know.
