I bet I could have negotiated for a little more money, assuming that the dealership had other incentives in place in the first place below the original 29k MSRP.... but $10k of from the manufacturer was such a bonus that I didn't even feel like I needed to -- or should -- negotiate the price down. Worked for me and for the nice people at the dealership.

My six and eight year old boys are thrilled-- the youngest just won the New Haven city wide science fair with a solar power project and now has an electric car to ride in! I'm driving them to their science and technology magnet school tomorrow to chaperone a field trip. They're exited to show it off to their classmates.
