Omron remote climate functions.

Just a quick one.

With the Omron remote to be used for internal climate control while plugged in - do you have to set the various controls beforehand when you leave the car, or does the remote fully automate the CC program?

My default, like I guess would be others on here is to keep everything off, sometimes blower speed to one notch up from off.

Hence, If I left the AC on cold, but transmitted a heating command after, would I get a cold car or a hot one?

The remote's conditioning modes override the dash settings. You can leave the knobs wherever you like and still get the desired function out of the remote. When you start the car, the system will set all of the dampers back to match the knob settings.
