In the past month I encountered a static storm thru my speakers with or without the radio being on. Prior to that I encountered that the auto dim day/night would not work. Any clues? Is to time to replace my radio/navigation head unit?
Think I found the problem. Radio will go into Strom mode if I poked by the cigarette lighter plug... Took the midmdash out (just pull out) and I was able to reset all wires behind the console. Noise is gone.
just in time to prevent me from answering silly things. We do have a storm and aurora lights. And amplifiers can do funny things if controlled electronically only and not by a power switch.
