Two guys in their Citroen C-Zero (U.S. Mitsubishi i analog) are driving their EV around the world. Bay area iMiev people, would you like to meet up with the tour? Now in the Tahoe area, they are bound for S.F.

Mark, Thanks for posting this.

I had been running late and thus was able to only briefly talk with them. They're doing nothing special - just driving the car normally. The only problem they've had so far is a rock punctured the radiator. Here's a photo of the car with its snazzy wrap:

The scrappy Spaniard in a Tesla Roadster that hopped into challenger position after the Electric Odyssey began and quickly leap-frogged the French team had a pretty serious collision only 1000 km from the finish line, but got the car repaired in only 3 days! He's back on track to beat 'em.

they will soon come to Poland and will drive near my location (KATOWICE) :) :D
how to meet them? ;)

As a supplement to Rick's Route 66 trip, thought I'd look up this oldie. I forgot to keep tracking these two intrepid Frenchmen after they left California. They evidently made it around the world in the C-Zero, and this is at a time when very few charging stations were in place.

Here's another writeup as they were passing through California:

Here is the link to their Facebook page, which shows a photo of their i-MiEV in the middle of a Chinese desert in their October 18, 2012, post:

I have difficulty navigating Facebook and using Google Translate on that website, so gave up digging any further. Now they're doing it on electric motorcycles?

Just continues to show that really long-distance travel is possible in an i-MiEV!

Just a FYI.
Many of the links from the article dont work.
They are the Gold Standard when it comes to worldwide iMiev travel.
