Thanks for the photos- first I've seen of the new style. The cable appears much more flexible than on the 2012 Panasonic EVSE- is that the case?

Congrats also on staying in the game after a rough experience with the first car.

I'd bet most 2012 iMiev owners would like one of these (myself included). Wish Mitsubishi would sell them to us - anybody know if that's possible and not ridiculously expensive?

Regarding the 8 amp/12 amp switch, will the 12 amp become active with the standard household outlet?

You can select the rate of charge 8 or 12 amps on a 120v regular house hold outlet .
The outlet should be protected & rated at minimum 15 amps , preferably a dedicated outlet,
or one of several outlets of a circuit that has no other loads.

After missing out on the opportunity to buy this 2014 EVSE, I called my local Mitsubishi parts department for a price quote on a dual amp.EVSE.
"WATT", I said, you want how much?? $1,543.+change.
EVSE upgrade is looking better and better.

2012, ES, silver with QC

AV TurboCord. 12 amps on 120 volts, 16 amps on 240 volt.

That's watt I ordered :D

PS
To Mitsubishi - since you are partnered with AeroVironment

Why not offer this as standard equipment with the car -
it would cut costs and reduce the cars price , offer more to the client.
