Thought I'd bring this to the group's attention as I didn't know they were here in the US, the e-FUSO electric truck: https://youtu.be/HOTlOo3p3tc

However they are, see at roughly 19:28 of this video: https://youtu.be/qeAFtuxvhOI

I found this site also, which appears to be the site from one could order an e-FUSO: http://www.mitfuso.com/en-us/models/ecanter

Per one of the dealers here in the Phoenix area, Mitsubishi brought in 50 of the e-FUSO trucks for testing. He didn't know where they went in the US but suspected most went to California. He thought they had a 70-80 mile range depending on how they were loaded. No info on price, but the 50 were to be leased.

The truck would become available in late 2018 or 2019 for retail sales.

More here on the e-FUSO, which if I read the recent article correctly appears to be using the StoreDot battery? https://www.daimler.com/innovation/case/electric/ecanter-new-york-2.html

BTW, InsideEVs covered the e-FUSO eCanter before, but not associated specifically with Mitsubishi, but rather Daimler AG.

Per InsideEvs, "Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus Corporation was formerly a part of Mitsubishi Motors, but is now separate from Mitsubishi Motors, which builds commercial grade trucks, buses and heavy construction equipment, and is owned by the German automotive corporation Daimler AG (though Mitsubishi continues to own a small stake)."

I find this ownership note interesting as the truck still has the Mitsubishi emblem on the front.
