Re: OVMS for Mitsubishi i-Miev, Citroen C-Zero and Peugeot iOn

Canion tracks much more detail Which more details you missed from OVMS? SOH set now in Trio/Settings on web interface, to calibrate ideal range. I see you use my code. The first is charge detection. (in my city does not have a working DC charger), i think now works great. Now i want to add some fea...

Re: Need a longer range ev

The i-MIEV has become our primary car, 99% of the driving we do is within its range and I use our van for those rare long trips. My wife hates stopping to charge for a long time so I'm not sure if a long range EV is in our future based on what's on the market now. The upcoming Model Y seems to be th...

Testing out individual cell voltages and temperatures: https://i.imgur.com/vbGFPdM.png Only available on local WiFi but can technically be available in the app. I can check them via SMS although it's not very readable. Can also set up alerts for cell temperatures/voltage although this slammed my pho...

Re: Mitsu Stock USB or aftermarket stereo?

I have an SE but Im tempted to put in a newer stereo with Android Auto so you can use Music and Navigation straight from the phone.
My car's GPS hasn't been updated since 2012 and there are some missing roads etc.

Re: New English i-MiEV Website and literature on Euro-spec cars

I can't believe they made a few changes on the console but are still rocking a 16kWh battery, they could have a 20kWh battery in there at least.
It'd be nice if they added a heat pump for some more efficient heating too.
I'm jealous that the 2017 year has Android Auto and Apple Car Play though.

Re: OVMS for Mitsubishi i-Miev, Citroen C-Zero and Peugeot iOn

I have the version 2 hardware. Let us know when they get more features on the v3 hardware working the the I-MiEV. I never used V2 but V3 seems easier to use given that it can update itself automatically. I couldn't find more info on the car's CAN bus, beyond what's currently being monitored. Canion...

Re: OVMS for Mitsubishi i-Miev, Citroen C-Zero and Peugeot iOn

I got my V3 hardware and got it working a few days ago. It's pretty slick. I need to find a good place to mount the hardware and antenna. They only added support a few months ago so there's still some bugs. It doesn't currently detect the car is charging, although I can see the SOC going up over tim...

Re: Canion

Is this only since the 143 update that came out recently ? I haven't had this happen, either on the older one or the newer one. I had a chance to test on 143 a bit and it still happens. Admittedly noticeably less. What happens is Canion seems to lose the BT connection. The app is running but the sc...

Re: Long Distance Travel Battery Thermal Concerns

I did about 250km in the imiev today, driving down from Toronto to Niagara Falls and back. I did about 5 DCQC sessions today. 3 full charges to 80% and 2 5 minute charges as I needed a bit of a boost. Forgot to run Canion most of the trip but by the end of the day Canion reported an average temperat...
