Re: RBS light Alarm

Do we understand how the A/C compressor was "disconnected"? Were the high voltage leads disconnected? Were just the control leads disconnected? Or was it both?

Re: RBS light Alarm

I have read one reference here in the forum from someone who has disconnected the A/C Compressor and that doing so rendered the vehicle drivable. Have more people done this as well? Is the AC unit not responsible for sometimes cooling the batteries or is it only in quick charge that this takes place?

Re: RBS light Alarm

I now have this same problem with the A/C compressor. The car has been at the dealer for three days undergoing diagnostics and speaking with Mitsubishi support. The problem was determined to be a faulty A/C compressor. I chocked when I heard the part price of $3,000 before taxes and minus the instal...

Re: Duosida EVSE

...So what about this Duosida with the 15 amp plug? We now know that plugging this thing into the i-MiEV will result in 14.0A-14.2A current draw, which exceeds the 12A max allowable for this type of an installation. The EVSE wire leading to the 5-15 connector looks a little thin to me to have #10AW...

Re: Duosida EVSE

This replacement Duosida EVSE was shorter than my first one and so it did not reach my garage outlet. So I first used it with an extension cord I already had. This was a cord with 16 AWG wire. It got hot so I went to buy a 12 AWG cord. I decided to get a 14 AWG cord to see if that got hot. Upon usi...
