Re: No READY. P1A15 error. Condenser charge timeout.

So if the main (+) is not commanded to come ON, then it may be an issue inside the EV-ECU under the rear seat that sends the coil drive signals to the Pack. The (+) drive is on pin 107 of connector C-111. It should have 12V on that line with key at ON, and drop to 1V or less after the key goes to ST...

Re: Alignment Issues and Discussions

There is a whole manual just for body repair with frame dimensions for alignment:

The Factory Service Manual (FSM) aka workshop manual is here:

... 20% duty cycle is 15v 50% duty cycle is 14v I think I recall it ranges up to 80% the higher the duty cycle goes the lower the voltage out put will be So you might want to put some limits on your PWM To go from 20% to 80% max, or just set to 50% to stay at 13v In the schematic of post #5, The po...

Re: No READY. P1A15 error. Condenser charge timeout.

Did you check all the components in the schematic on page 2? The precharge resistor circuit will charge up the MCU capacitor voltage toward Pack Voltage in the first second, then the Positive contactor is supposed to come ON and hold that voltage as the precharge is turned OFF. It sounds as if you a...

Re: Care and Feeding of the OBC/dc-dc

The OEM fuse is made by Pacific Engineering and is only available from a Mitsubishi dealer part$ department at a slightly higher price. Mitsubishi part #9499A656. The Littelfuse is equivalent device, and is available from electrical parts vendors for slightly less. i would have bought a 50A, but cou...

Re: Care and Feeding of the OBC/dc-dc

i bought a 30A 450V Littlefuse, 0HEV030.ZXISO, from Mouser, but i think digikey and other electronics vendors could also supply them. i have a 20 AWG jumper that i made and am considering to replace the fuse with that after the OBC warranty expires. Take a look at the 2013 Ion not charging thread (A...

Re: Care and Feeding of the OBC/dc-dc

Howdy and welcome to the forum, There seems to be two areas of failure in the OBC, one is to components on the AC input side of the device, and the other to components on the High Voltage DC output side. To protect the AC side in this situation, i would set a timer and go press the trigger to stop t...

Re: my 2013 Peugeot iOn will not charge :(

What a shame, such rotten timing. But you have more tools than most to access and clear fault codes. i made a repair with the OBC in the car, no need to remove anything unless you can't get a soldering iron out to the car. The fuse and HV snubber caps can be found at Mouser, but to get the car worki...

Is this considered Pack Failure?

i bought a silver 2012 SE with 40k miles that i thought was in perfect condition since the cells were all within 5mV when fully charged to 16 bars. But it would only go about 25 miles before hitting turtle with 2 bars showing. Cell #27 was 0.6 volts below all the rest, and #20 was 0.4 low. Charged i...

Re: Security system activating

i've had that happen when i accidentally fat-thumbed the key while starting and pressed the door lock button.
