Re: Long Distance Travel Battery Thermal Concerns

On my 246 mile one day trip to Milwaukee and Madison during QC in Madison the AC came on to cool the battery big time.

If battery temps cause such degradation, why are we not hearing more stories about it?
I am planning a 3000 mile trip so I am curious.

Re: My charging network card collection

To the OP...
Those are the exact same cards I have!

Also I agree about the new Chargepoint L2 chargers. We have those at Steiners here in Rockford IL...awesome cable management system!

Re: My BIG adventure this past weekend.

also to Brian in Rockford, the QC in Madison is now Greenlots and costs about $4.00 a charge. A further note: we have now traveled quite a bit out of town, to Milwaukee twice, to North Chicago twice, and once to Galena. Just takes a lot of planning, some patience, and Plugshare is essential. I am pl...

Re: My BIG adventure this past weekend.

To Brian in Rockford... I take the direct way using Mapquest from Madison to Rockford. I use the Quickcharger to get to 80%, then the Princeton Club charger to top up. There are a lot of back roads, so its no problem with careful regenerative ECO mode or traffic. Also, if you go the Stoughton route ...

My BIG adventure this past weekend.

Finally did it. Drove to Milwaukee, Wisconsin on Saturday morning. Charged enroute in Elkhorn, WI. Used the GMR quickcharger in Milwaukee twice, and the AAA Chargepoint L2 Charger in Milwaukee once to top up. Then, drove to Johnson Creek, WI and used my Blink card for the first time on L2 at Kohls. ...

weird tax filing issue

Did my taxes today. All went well until I tried to e-file. it wouldn't let me, and said the 2012 Imiev doesn't qualify for the $7500 credit. I went to the IRS website, and it very clearly says the 2012 Does qualify. So I printed and will mail the return instead. A bit worried here....hmmm...anyone e...

Re: Weird interior trim issue

By the way the local non-Imiev Mitsubishi dealer easily and quickly ordered the armrest and replaced it. They are Anderson Mitsubishi here in Rockford....I was highly impressed by their attitude and service.
I wish they were I-miev certified.

Weird interior trim issue

Anyone else experience deterioration of the arm rest plastic on the interior passenger side? Bought the car in March, but it WAS a new 2012.....should be covered by the warranty...but cmon! Anyone else experience this? It's the semi-hard rubber/plastic where the window controls are on the passenger ...
