The fact that the car sat for 5 days with 12 bars of charge has nothing to do with the differences you're seeing on the RR gauge

Re: Life with Chevy Bolt EV

Honda sold CNG cars for several years, but I think only on the West Coast. That seemed like the ideal solution to me at the time (still does, actually) because you could refuel in your own garage and have 250 miles of range or more and no road use taxes on the fuel

Re: 2014 i-miev with quick charge

Most all new car warranties are easily transferable to subsequent owners. The 3 year, 36K Basic warranty is probably gone, but the 5 year, 60K power train warranty is likely still in force and for sure the 10 year, 100K battery warranty is still in effect. Re: 2014 i-miev with quick charge

I agree - It's always nice to pay less ;) I bought our second '12 for $8700 with 3K miles on it 4 years ago - It was like new in every way . . . . and less than 1/3ed of what we paid for our first one when we bought it new I do like buying ultra low miles cars a few years old. 1MiEV's with less than...

Re: Need a longer range ev

Joe, I do recall on your first cross country trip in your Tesla you recounting many unorthodox charging adventures, and i know that made a big impression on me. If a Tesla driver with free access to the Supercharger network sometimes must resort to charging at a boatyard or a welding shop, what chan...
