Re: Battery Replacement - Lessons Learned

Hi Dailydriver and welcome to the forum. I haven't checked lately, but in the past it was cost-prohibitive to have a new traction pack installed by Mitsubishi. Almost all of their installs have been under warranty for failures of one or more cells within the pack. Although you might be noticing 'ran...

Re: ChargePoint Charging Question

kevin1956murray, that's not what I would call a positive response to your specific technical request. I'm rather put-off by their canned answer to you as they should have recognized that you are a technically-astute individual who is way past the owner's manual admonishments. Pity. Thanks for trying.

Re: Turtle at Half Charge Under Load?!?!?!

1kaspars, thank you for your detailed analysis and explanation.

Style, since your battery is probably still under warranty, I would be inclined to demonstrate this to the Mitsubishi dealer.

Re: ChargePoint Charging Question

kevin1956murray, thank you very much for the update. I just noticed that you had not retrieved my 5 September PM to you about this, as I still have not followed-up and performed the test. I gather it is now not so urgent as you've identified which dual ChargePoint stations actually share a common in...

Re: Problem Charging but it isn't the battery

I forgot to mention that I have a generic level 1/2 charger that I tested on it before taking it in to the dealership. It would completely turn off after 5-10 mins, then reboot and start charging again. The process repeated three times before I gave up and took it in. I don't understand what you me...

Re: New program for I-miev for Android

Gencis, thank you for posting this about the PowerCruiseControl app. Predicting an electric vehicle's range is another area ripe for both in-car and app development. This app attempts to do that and includes an easily-understandable and very readable-at-a-glance car positioning in a green (top) or r...

Re: Under the Cover--an Inside Look at a 2018 On-Board Charger (OBC2)

kiev, thank you very much for the photos of the new OBC/dc-dc innards. Any comments whether this new design has improved the component thermal management? I was always disturbed that the case of this module becomes hot despite the the liquid cooling system. This is indeed great news. Still made by N...

GdB, thank you for adding the information to this thread. I took the liberty of editing your post to make the links visible even though you have the text nicely covered. The fourth link shows the related hardware.

Re: iMiEV as workhorse

So, this coming Friday there's a Climate Strike-related event at the local high school, and a few of us have been invited to show off our EVs. Thought I might spice things up with this contraption attached to a bike rack, but I have difficulty keeping a straight face ... can you imagine driving down...

GdB, thank you for the manual! (We can't post to that subforum).

GdB had posted a link to the zipped manual: http://myimiev.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=19&t=4393

All the best in selling your i-MiEV.
