Re: Shifter starting to have problems

Thanks PV1. I just tried this myself on my silver I-miev. The shifter worked fine but was getting a little stiff. I did notice it was easier from the drivers side.  Ed Wow, this really works. After a day or so of driving around my shifter works like new! 8-) The other thing I think this...

Re: Shifter starting to have problems

Hi, all. Been off the forum for a while. Both of my cars had this issue, as does a friend's i-MiEV. Like others have said, the fix for this is to lubricate the lever coming out of the gearbox that connects to the shifter linkage. Since this is all open to the elements, the bearings dry out over tim...

Re: It Has Arrived!

Hopefully, that didn't hurt it too bad - 1/4 tank would have been better than 3/4ths. Cars which sat with a full tank for a year ended up with significantly degraded batteries. I own 2 of them. Don Yes, I'm hoping that it didn't hurt it either. I believe he did take it out once in a while, like may...

Re: It Has Arrived!

Congrats Ed, We'd love to hear the batt stats after a year of hibernating, and at what SOC did it sleep? Also if you don't mind, how much did the cross-country shipping set you back? I'm bringing in a Transit Connect Electric from Missouri to Seattle right now, and it was a challenge to gitrdone be...

It Has Arrived!

My new (to me) 2012 Mitsubishi Labrardore black I-miev has arrived from North Carolina and it's in great shape! I bought it from my brother who's commute went from 15 miles to 60 miles one way and thus, couldn't really use it. I was a little concerned because it had been sitting for at lea...

Anyone Looking For An IMIEV in North Carolina? SOLD

My brother has a "Labrador Black" 2012 ES with quick charge in North Carolina in the Greenville area. It's in good condition with a shopping cart type ding on the front left fender and some scratches on the driver's door but the rest is pretty good. I forgot to ask him the mileage but, as ...

Re: Back Seat Lever

Speaking of seat levers, has anyone been able to use the seat height adjusting lever? I've read somewhere that it was for adjusting your seat height although, I never did get mine to work. The only good thing is I like where my seat height is now so no complaints there.
