Squishy shifter

A weird problem has hit my i-MiEV in the last few days -- the shifter makes a kind of "wet" sound. It still works, and the feel isn't really different. It's not consistent, and may even have cleared up today, but it still concerns me.

Re: CCS/SAE

I felt like I had an old fashioned car there. I wouldn't say that, but, it's true that CHAdeMO was the standard on two of the earliest of the "modern" (2011-) EVs in the U.S., and is unlikely to be seen on many more going forward. That's not because it's technically inferior, but CCS has ...

Re: Recent recall for brake vacuum pump. Issue of distant dealership.

No notice for me yet. Fortunately a Mitsubishi dealer opened in my town a few years ago... they did my last recall... had the green "i" and everything, although I assume that program is no longer in effect. (?)

My least favorite feature

The "low temperature" chime. Every time it goes off (for the first time in a while), I'm like "Ack! What's wrong with the car?" before I realize "Oh, it's cold outside. Thanks, I knew that."

Re: Wanted: Charging remote

Yes, it should be at the dealership where i bought it but they say they can't find it. They couldn't sell it so used it for people in for repair could use it, and listed it last month. No manuals in it either... If it helps, you can find the manual(s) in PDF form online -- just search "i-miev ...
