First i-Miev in Malawi

Hi. I thought you might be interested in the fact that I have just imported my meevster into my new place of residence, Malawi in central Africa. It is the first electric car in this, the poorest country in the world. I am tweeting its progress @KieronSmith6. So far so good!

Re: broken remote control for charging

That is a good idea. I am sure they will have used a standard sized screen. Paying a small electrical repairer will be a fraction of the 900 dollars surely?

Re: i'er iChart: The iMiev Range Chart. ANY VOLUNTEERS?

I suspect you're right about range being much higher at 20mph but I don't have the patience to check this out! I've cautiously put 130 miles. I'm trying to model the curve with a fairly simple equation based upon my experience of driving my i-miev in temperate conditions. I too thought that adjustme...

Re: OVMS for Mitsubishi i-Miev, Citroen C-Zero and Peugeot i

Can anyone help me with this? I need a step by step guide! What do I need to buy? Once the box is installed and the app is installed, what next? It seems like a cool extra feature to buy. I have been to the ovms site and zero carbon world, but cannot see the i-miev mentioned. Any help gratefully rec...

Re: Charging from a public charge point in UK

What a great story! It just shows what we are willing to put up with at the moment as early adopters. We need rapid chargers every 20 miles to change most people's likelihood of buying an EV.

Re: Charging from a public charge point in UK

I finally tried the cable at Forest Green Rovers football club and it worked! I only used it for 15 minutes whilst waiting for the rapid charger. One of the football players was charging up his Nissan leaf! Boy is rapid charging rapid. I only plugged it in for 20 minutes before I had enough juice to...

Re: i-MiEV and the G20 Summit

That's great news!
I was in Bulgaria a few weeks back and saw a real push from renault for the twizy and kangoo ev's. There was a display of them in a mall. It's really encouraging to see EV's spreading their presence.
